New Patient Forms:
Upon entering our office, you will be warmly greeted by a member of our staff. The Balanced Atlas strives to be a Green and Eco-friendly healthcare facility. We utilize Electronic Health Records and therefore provide our New Patients the ability to complete their intake forms online, and submit them to our database via our encrypted, HIPPA compliant online portal. This cuts down on wait times and allows you the freedom to complete your paperwork at your own pace. If you prefer to print out your forms or want to fill them out in the office, no problem. We can easily scan them into our system and recycle the paper.

Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Harrison to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Harrison to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine if NUCCA Chiropractic is the right option for you.

Your first visit is extremely important and we have set aside the proper time so that you will not feel rushed through the process. You will have plenty of one on one time with Dr. Harrison to discuss any health concerns and questions. We ask that you allow approximately 1 hour for your first visit at The Balanced Atlas.

NUCCA Examination:
After your consultation, Dr. Harrison will perform a complete NUCCA Chiropractic examination. This examination will evaluate your postural body alignment. You can have subluxations (misalignments) and not even know it. Like the early stages of tooth decay or cancer, subluxations can be present before warning signs appear. Body imbalance is determined by leg length disparity, postural measurements performed on an instrument called an Anatometer, bi-lateral weight difference and computerized Thermographic and EMG analysis. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

NUCCA X-Ray Studies:
To not see is to guess, and we will not guess when it comes to your health. The work we do is very precise and we must measure what we have done to ensure it is effective. This is the key to the success of NUCCA and our patients holding their adjustments for weeks to months at a time. Our clinic uses the latest technology in advanced digital X-ray. These digital images help us rule out more serious conditions and assist us in developing the most effective care plan for you. We only take those views which are necessary for quality care. Most people are amazed once they see their images and can often immediately identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.
